PGA Ocean´s 4, host of the sixth edition of the Canita Golf Tour

On February 17 and 18, our course hosted the sixth edition of the Canita Golf Tour, a golf circuit for professionals and featured amateurs. Canita tour draws the best players in the Dominican Republic.

PGA Ocean's 4 offered a great experience to the more than 44 golfers who gathered to compete in this edition.

With a second round of 66, which included an eagle and 4 birdies, Willy Pumarol, a great exponent of Dominican golf, managed to take the title and win by 2 strokes over his closest rival. Julio Santos finished in second place with 138, with rounds of 71-67. The amateur Rhadamés Peña reached third place with a total of 142, rounds of 72-70.

In the Mid-Amateur category, Edgar Alma with rounds of 73-71 finished in first place. Francisco Alba finished second with 76-84, third for Roy Galván, with 82-79. In the Seniors category, the first place went to Carlos Romero with 71-84; Luis Matos with 75-81, was second.

The day concluded with the presentation of prizes to the players and a cocktail offered by the sponsors.
